A closed meeting was held with the members of the IT Ukraine Association and the Tallinn Mechanism Project Office (TMPO) team. The platform was presented to the participants before its official public launch.

The Tallinn Mechanism (TM) is an international initiative to support Ukraine in countering cyber threats in the civilian sector. Recently, a public online platform was officially launched, making the initiative more accessible and understandable for partners and a wider audience. The platform contains up-to-date news, information about implemented projects, and practical materials regarding cooperation opportunities. Specifically, the private sector can learn about open tenders, procurements, and opportunities to participate in TM projects.

Thanks to the cooperation between the Tallinn Mechanism Project Office and the IT Ukraine Association, we are establishing a transparent mechanism for Ukrainian companies to participate in donor programs aimed at enhancing the cyber resilience of government institutions. We agreed to continue developing cooperation and provide feedback to improve the platform’s effectiveness,

– said Sergii Kulyk, Chairman of the CyberTech Committee, Country Manager at iIT Distribution.

For the IT Ukraine Association, it is important to create a space where businesses can communicate directly with international initiatives, receive information from the source, and influence decision-making even at the platform and tool launch stage. During the meeting, the TMPO team demonstrated the platform’s functionality and answered participants’ questions in an open Q&A session. Special attention was given to the logic of the mechanism’s operation, the role of the private sector, and practical opportunities for Ukrainian companies.

The meeting covered:

  • How private companies can get involved in projects under the Tallinn Mechanism

  • Mechanisms for informing businesses about open tenders and procurements

  • Company Directory as a tool for enhancing the visibility of Ukrainian companies to donors and international partners

  • The registration and verification process for companies

  • Long-term cooperation prospects and integration with European initiatives

The Tallinn Mechanism platform opens up access to opportunities for businesses, including tenders, procurements, and partnerships. The Company Directory serves as a trust tool that helps donors and international companies find verified Ukrainian partners.

We thank the TMPO team for their openness to dialogue and the participants of the Association for their active involvement, insightful questions, and expert proposals. The IT Ukraine Association will continue to serve as a platform for professional discussions and direct interaction between businesses and international initiatives shaping the future of cybersecurity and digital resilience in Ukraine.
