ITU Establishes a Brand-New AI Committee

Publication date:

Publication from:

IT Ukraine

The IT Ukraine Association announces the creation of a new AI Committee, which will serve as a platform for companies actively developing artificial intelligence and aiming to collaboratively address the key challenges in the industry.

The AI Committee will bring together industry leaders for constructive dialogue, knowledge exchange, and strengthening collaboration, contributing to the development of innovative solutions and the formation of a strategy for the growth of the AI sector in Ukraine. The AI Committee will join the already active committees of IT Ukraine Association — #ITUAgriTech, #ITUFinTech, #ITUEdTech and #ITUCyberTech, expanding opportunities for cooperation among tech companies and enhancing Ukraine’s position in the artificial intelligence field.

At the initial stage of the committee’s work, a series of strategic sessions and round tables are planned, during which participants will identify the main challenges, develop a roadmap for the development of the AI market, and initiate specific projects to strengthen the technological ecosystem. Following these events, a market study and mapping of key players and stakeholders will be conducted.

The Association strengthens its leadership in IT verticals. Moving forward, we are launching the next AI committee, which has generated significant interest globally. Artificial intelligence has already proven to be a game-changer on the world stage. As with the other four committees, we will comprehensively analyse the technology’s prospects and find ways to strengthen Ukrainian IT,

– Maria Shevchuk, Executive Director of IT Ukraine Association.

The AI Committee should become a platform where companies can exchange best practices, form ethical standards and accelerate the implementation of AI solutions across various sectors of the Ukrainian economy. This is a timely response to the challenges of innovative development in our country and global competition,

– Artem Skrypnyk, CEO of FAVBET Tech, initiator of the AI Committee.

The selection of committee participants will take place from March 28 to April 28, 2025. Up to 20 companies that develop, implement projects and create technological products and services in the AI field will be able to join the first stage. Let’s shape the future of Ukrainian IT together – join us! Fill out the form: ITU-Committees-2025-Applications

Required criteria for company selection to the committee:

  • The company must be Ukrainian, meaning it has Ukrainian registration and/or a Ukrainian founder and/or an office or representative in Ukraine.
  • The company must belong to the IT sector and position itself as a stakeholder in the industry.
  • The company must be active, continuing its operations in Ukraine and/or abroad and having received income from the sale of products/services in 2024.
  • The company must have a significant product or notable expertise in creating a product or service in the relevant vertical.

  • The company must have no direct or indirect ties to the russian federation, including but not limited to owners, ultimate beneficiaries, affiliated persons, or contractors, and must not be under sanctions.

The announcement of the committee participants will take place on May 20, 2025. Please note: the number of spots in the first stage of the committee is limited and will be expanded after the completion of the first trial period.
