Industry Committee Membership Expansion

The vertical committees of the IT industry were launched by the IT Ukraine Association in a pilot format almost a year ago. At the launch stage, 20 member companies joined each of the committees — AgriTech, FinTech, EdTech and CyberTech.

 

ITU committees provide an opportunity for companies with deep expertise in these fields to join forces to stimulate sectoral development, implement innovations and strengthen Ukraine’s IT industry as a whole. What does participation in the committees offer?

• Joint work on key market initiatives;

• Influence on regulatory processes and interaction with the government;

• Access to a closed community of professionals and leading companies;

• Opportunities for scaling and entering new markets.

 

At the end of 2024, we presented analytical guides — navigators that delve into the four respective sectors of Ukraine’s IT industry. These documents contain the vertical landscapes and mappings of leading companies. The navigators reflect both the current state of the vertical markets and their development prospects. Mandatory criteria for company selection into the committees:

• The company must be Ukrainian, meaning it must have Ukrainian registration and/or a Ukrainian founder and/or an office or representative office in Ukraine.

• The company must belong to the IT industry and position itself as a stakeholder in the industry.

• The company must be active, meaning it continues to operate in Ukraine and/or abroad and has generated revenue from product/service sales in 2024.

• The company must have a notable product or significant expertise in creating a product or service relevant to the vertical.

• The company must be recognisable to the audience, active in communication, and promote its brand and product. This may also be reflected in the company’s presence in industry rankings of various media, such as dou.ua, Forbes, dev.ua, etc.

• The company must not have any direct or indirect ties to russian federation, including but not limited to owners, ultimate beneficiaries, affiliated persons or contractors and must not be under sanctions.

• The company must be a member of the IT Ukraine Association.
