From the first days of the war, the Association organized a fundraising campaign to purchase the first aid kits and blood stoppers for Ukrainian defenders and civilians in cooperation with the Foundation Ukraine and the Mayor of Wroclaw Jacek Sutryk.
On March 15, the IT Ukraine Association and the Techiia Foundation NGO (part of the TECHIIA international holding company) signed a
memorandum of cooperation. Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion to Ukraine, the Techiia Foundation has donated $7.9 million (UAH 231 million) for humanitarian aid.
Starting from the second half of March, the most frequent topic of requests to E-Support! was the mobilization of specialists of IT companies. We helped with legal advice on:
- a list of documents to be drawn up by the personnel department for a specialist who goes to the territorial defense units or has received a summons from the military enlistment office.
- a list of documents to be submitted to the military enlistment office, for those specialists who are exempt from mobilization in accordance with the legislation.
- a list of documents to be submitted to the military enlistment office, to issue a possible deferment of conscription and join in the 4th mobilization group.
It should be mentioned that according to a
poll conducted by the IT Ukraine Association, since the first days of the war, almost 2% of IT professionals with military experience have joined the Armed Forces. In some small companies with a staff of up to 200 people, 20% of specialists joined the Army. 5% of industry specialists are involved in cyber forces that work in the field of state cybersecurity and support the critical infrastructure facilities. Ukraine’s economic front is now defended by more than 85% of IT professionals.
To get Є – Support!, you just need to fill out an
application on the Association’s website and the Association’s employee will contact you to further communicate the necessary counseling and assistance.
