The pilot project of the Ambassadors of the IT Ukraine Association provisions the creation of a scalable system of the Association’s Representatives in the focus markets for the Ukrainian IT sector. ITU Ambassadors, working on a voluntary basis, will be responsible for expanding the network of partnerships, seeking out new initiatives and activities (or creating prerequisites for such), expanding the network connections for the Association and its members, as well as enhancing public representation globally.
In their work, Ambassadors will focus on the markets of North America (USA, Canada), Scandinavian countries (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland), Germany, Great Britain, the MENA region (UAE, Saudi Arabia, etc.), Asia and Poland.
ITU Ambassadors will be tasked with:
- Participation in public speeches and events as Representatives of the Association and the IT sector of Ukraine;
- Support of systematic communication with existing partners of the Association outside of Ukraine and expansion of the network of contacts, connecting with prospective partners;
- Establishing partnerships with other market stakeholders (governmental and non-governmental organisations, local and international businesses, etc.);
- Generating ideas and implementing joint international events together with the Association’s International Relations Department and involvement of partners globally;
- Representing the interests of the Association and conveying the Ukrainian IT industry key messages to an international audience, in particular, directed at the government agencies and other institutions;
- Methodically ensuring the preferential conditions for ITU Members in their international events participation and representation.
