IT Ukraine Association presented the Ukrainian IT ecosystem at the Comex Global Technology Show 2024 in Oman. At the international platform, which brought together participants and speakers from all over the world, the Association’s representatives presented opportunities for cooperation with Ukrainian businesses at a stand organised by the StrategEast Centre for the New Economy. The main goal is to find potential partners for the global development of the Ukrainian IT market.
COMEX 2024 opened up new opportunities for us and allowed us to experience the market, study its features, and establish initial contacts, which we hope will develop into long-term cooperation. The Gulf region has not been explored by us but is increasingly attracting interest from Ukrainian businesses. We are convinced that Ukraine is of interest and that people are open to cooperation. Therefore, we intend to intensify our activities in the region,
as noted in the Association.
As part of the event, Ukrainian delegates joined the panel discussion “Digital transformation of the large technological sector,” in which representatives of Cisco, IBM, Huawei, and Technology Rihal also took part.
The presentation of Ukrainian experience and current opportunities interested representatives of Oman, because today Oman focuses on the diversification of the economy and increasing the role of IT in all areas of the country. He was particularly interested in the Ukrainian path of representatives of the public sector, which today focuses on the country’s digitalization.
Ukraine has made an invaluable journey of digital transformation and is only increasing the pace and adapting to new realities. Today, Ukrainian companies have successfully established themselves in the markets of Europe and North America, and the country is securing its position as a prominent global digital and cyberspace player, having earned the “Digital Tiger” moniker. We solve the challenges of cybersecurity, energy independence, logistics, and other components of daily life every day and are ready to share our experience and solutions,
as noted in the Association.
The 33rd Edition of Comex aims to support companies and establishments that offer state-of-the-art solutions in tech, including Artificial Intelligence, the Metaverse, space technology, programming, IoT, cybersecurity, fintech, eGovernment, drones, future mobility and sustainable energy, and emerging start-ups in tech, as well as several more fascinating topics.
