‘Work Without Limits’ Conference: How Inclusivity is Changing the Job Market in Ukraine

‘Work Without Limits’ Conference: How Inclusivity is Changing the Job Market in Ukraine

Publication date:

Publication from:

Happy Monday

The online conference “Work Without Limits” will take place on April 8, 2025, from 10:30 to 16:30, where modern realities of the inclusive job market development in Ukraine will be discussed. The conference will feature successful case studies from companies, practical tips for HR professionals and employers, and tools to help address the labor shortage. The event will gather representatives from business, the public sector, government agencies, and vulnerable groups to jointly find solutions to key employment challenges and share successful integration cases.

In Ukraine, millions of people from vulnerable groups — internally displaced persons, people with disabilities, veterans, as well as people over 40 — often face barriers in the job market. At the same time, these individuals represent the “invisible talent market,” whose potential remains underestimated. Companies that have already embraced inclusivity confirm: a diverse workforce is an undervalued resource.

Inclusivity should not be just an initiative of certain companies or isolated programs/projects; it must become part of the standard practice for every employer and state policy. Especially in these challenging times for our country, the inclusive labor market becomes even more important as it fosters social cohesion, economic stability, and national recovery. Moreover, I am convinced that workforce diversity generally enhances productivity, creativity, and business growth,

— said Viktoriya Stokratyuk, program manager of the “Civic Resilience” program at the International Renaissance Foundation.

The conference program includes lectures from top speakers, panel discussions, case studies on implementing inclusive HR processes and practices, real success stories of employment for vulnerable groups, motivational TedTalks, and much more.

During the conference, participants will learn:

  • How inclusivity can help businesses overcome staffing challenges by attracting specialists from the “invisible talent market.”
  • Which tools and solutions help companies implement inclusive practices effectively and without extra costs.
  • How to overcome barriers to inclusion and create a work environment where every employee feels valued.
  • Practical case studies from companies already implementing inclusive approaches and how it has helped them strengthen their employer brand, improve corporate culture, and business performance.
  • Real success stories that prove that inclusivity is not only a social responsibility but also a strategic advantage for businesses.

If companies can’t find the right people, it’s worth looking beyond the usual scope. There are many talented professionals who remain overlooked simply due to stereotypes or the lack of adaptation. But if businesses are ready to make the effort — to change their approach, adapt their processes, expand their criteria for job search — this is not just a solution to the staffing crisis, but a real growth opportunity. This is exactly what we’ll be discussing at the conference: how to make the job market more open and how everyone — companies, candidates, and the economy — can benefit from this,

— said Anna Mazur, founder and CEO of the career development platform Happy Monday.

Participation is free of charge. To register, you need to fill out the form on the Happy Monday website.

The conference is part of the “Invisible Talent Market” project, implemented by Happy Monday (NGO “Professionals of the Future”) with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation and the assistance of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
