he Center for CSR Development (STEM Girls Initiative) and n.cubator, a platform for the development of conscious entrepreneurship, have announced the acceptance of applications for the participation in Women’s Pitch Day, which will take place on June 11, 2021. Women’s entrepreneurship in the IT field is growing every year. Boston Consulting Group notes that women’s startups are becoming twice as successful as startups with male founders. However, the opportunities for women and men in the development of startups are still not equal. The Women Who Tech 2020 survey found that globally, investors scrutinize women’s startups, and 50% of women founders believe they would raise more funding if they were men.
The objective of Women’s Pitch Day in Ukraine is to help women and girls promote their own startups and create conditions of equality and non-discrimination for this process.
The project is open to girls and women over 18 years old who have cool ideas of their own business, are owners of an already operating tech business or one of the founders of tech startups (but the team includes both women and men).
To participate, one must fill out a form indicating the motivation, wait for the selection results and from 1 to 10 June prepare for pitching. Then on June 11, 2021, the selected participants must join Women’s Pitch Day to win cool opportunities.

Also, all the participants will join the community of startups female founders and will receive intensive training from the project organizers. During the training, they will hone their self-presentation skills, learn how to detect customer pain points and create a product that will be in demand, learn how to create the “perfect” pitch for investors and receive comments from experts on project implementation.
The winning team will receive a grant of 30,000 UAH for the development of the idea and project. All participants will receive contacts and a chance to present their ideas and projects to investors who support women’s startups.
