Vinnytsia National Technical University (VNTU) signed a cooperation agreement with the international IT company GlobalLogic. Joint activities of the company and institution will contribute to the high-quality training of IT specialists.
Technical specialities at VNTU study 4250 students. The university and GlobalLogic cooperation will help them better understand the peculiarities of the profession and acquire skills that are necessary for working with commercial IT projects. The partnership will also contribute to the improvement of an ecosystem for the individual development of future technicians.
Our cooperation provides for the modernization of curricula at the Vinnytsia National Technical University. Higher education applicants will be able to obtain relevant practical skills at VNTU. The future of the IT industry depends on our youth, therefore we support the introduction of innovations and modern cutting-edge technologies in education and business, — emphasized the rector of VNTU Victor Bilichenko.VNTU trains specialists who will be able to realize themselves in all professional areas, particularly technical ones. As a part of the partnership program, students will be able to become familiar with the specifics of working in the IT field and focus on their interests in IT. In future this will allow them to occupy high positions in the profession. For example, one of the Faculty of Computer Systems and Automation graduates at VNTU – Vice President of Engineering at GlobalLogic Yulia Shtukaturova – was included in the «25 women in the Ukrainian IT industry» rating by Forbes Ukraine. Cooperation of the university with the IT company is carried out within the GlobalLogic Education initiative. In total, there are already 22 higher educational institutions in 7 cities in Ukraine that are partners of GlobalLogic Education. This year the universities of Dnipro, Sumy and Odessa joined the collaboration. The signing of the cooperation agreement was attended by the junior Vice President of Engineering at GlobalLogic Yaroslav Nyzhnik and the coordinator of the GlobalLogic university program in Ukraine, candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Yevhen Sakalo.
