During the event, participants from Ukraine and the UK discussed the significant accomplishments of the Ukrainian IT industry, the perspectives and benefits for UK companies to cooperate with the Ukrainian tech industry, and specific segments in which Ukrainian tech companies and startups are at the forefront of the world: DefenceTech, CyberSecurity, EdTech, FinTech, and others.
The event is aimed at raising attention to Ukraine as a reliable partner for collaboration and realization of new projects in the field of IT and modern technologies.
Maria Shevchuk, Executive Director of the ITU, introduced the potential of the Ukrainian IT industry and pointed out:

TechUK, the leading UK technology association, in partnership with IT Ukraine Association and Deloitte, organized the event.
The UK is one of the largest exporters of IT services from Ukraine. According to the National Bank of Ukraine, in September 2023, export income from IT services with the UK amounted to $42 million. Ukrainian IT companies, despite the war challenges, stay competitive and become more and more visible in the global tech industry.
