Ukraine presents IT industry state at Stockholm Tech Show 2023

President of the IT Ukraine Association Olena Samborska and representatives of IT Ukraine member companies held a meeting with the delegation from the state of Utah (USA), led by the State of Utah Senate President, Stuart Adams. This is the first large delegation visit of American companies to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale War.

Participants of the annual Stockholm Tech Show are companies from all around the world offering IT solutions and services, product development, high-tech innovations, hardware, and software to help organisations take the next steps in digital transformation and the introduction of new business models and processes. In 2023, the event brought together more than 2,700 participants, 100 exhibitors, and 530 delegates.

The collective booth of Ukraine was organised by the  “Office for the Development of Entrepreneurship and Export” State Institution, the Diia.Business  national project and Open Trade Gate Sweden in cooperation with the IT Ukraine Association.

The IT industry is the only export industry experiencing not a decrease but a rise in 2022. Through its flexibility and reactivity, it brought 7.4 billion dollars in export revenue to the Ukrainian economy and, even more, managed to grow by 10% compared to the previous pre-war year. Regarding the industry expectations in 2023, nearly just under half of the companies are expecting the growth of their businesses. This development is exponential and cannot be stopped. The world is rapidly transforming, and the development of the industry continues and will continue under any conditions.
