Ukraine’s leading animal rights organisation, UAnimals, has launched a Corporate Giving Platform. Using this platform, UAnimals raises funds to save animals and pay for veterinarians, drivers, lawyers and other team members. Your company and its employees can rescue animals from war by getting involved.
The manager registers the company on the Corporate Giving Platform, provides the corporate email address, and specifies the contribution the business will make. It’s crucial for employees to feel a sense of joint action, so we recommend doubling the amount from the company or choosing another monthly donation.
After receiving the personal link, the manager tells the team about it in an email newsletter, group chat, call, or on posters in the office.
Joint good deeds create a stronger bond with the team. Therefore, we recommend that you remind your team of this opportunity occasionally.
We at UAnimals strive not only to save animals on our own but also to change society so that one day we will not have any work left. We believe that social change will be faster and more effective if charity and humane treatment of animals are part of the corporate culture. In addition, when we unite with our employees around common values, we are sure that the companies themselves will benefit.
Oleksandr Todorchuk, Founder of UAnimals
Charity is precious for business today. It increases loyalty and trust in the organisation among both customers and employees. During a full-scale war, it is essential for employees to feel the benefits that their company brings. And not just applaud these actions but also get involved in good deeds.
The humanitarian movement UAnimals was founded in 2016 by public activist Oleksandr Todorchuk and began its activities with a large-scale campaign against animal exploitation in circuses.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the organisation has been actively helping animals from the war zone, evacuating them, and providing food and medicine for shelters. The team has begun to rebuild facilities for animals affected by Russian aggression. UAnimals launched an all-Ukrainian free sterilisation programme for stray animals and now operates in Kharkiv, Chernivtsi, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Poltava, Chernihiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy and other cities.
The Fund is not resting on its laurels, as it has many plans for the future. UAnimals, together with more than a million caring people, fights for the ban on the use of animals in circuses and dolphinariums, opposes the activities of fur farms and continues to develop and support rehabilitation centres for animals that have suffered from people and their actions.
