The Ukrainian IT company Yalantis has launched a product called SHERP, an all-in-one solution for managing IT companies’ operational activities within a single system. This solution integrates company resource planning, personnel management, a competency assessment platform, and payroll management.

The product is a specialized system specifically targeted at the IT industry.

As we grew as an IT company, we recognized the need for a specialized tool that would enable us to manage the business effectively, enhance financial performance, and nurture the human potential of our team. SHERP meets the specific challenges of the IT industry. This data-driven tool operates with unified data from various systems in real-time. At different stages of a company’s development, data is either not collected at all, is collected independently within individual departments, or relies on numerous third-party software solutions that don’t integrate. As a result, each function of the organization operates with entirely different and often contradictory contexts and data — we recognized this as a significant pain point,

explains Denys Rudenko, CEO of Yalantis, regarding the launch of SHERP.

Capabilities of the SHERP Ecosystem:

  • ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning): a module for automatic planning and control of organizational and team resources, revenue and profit management based on current data, margin control, and monitoring of organizational deadlines. HRM (Human Resource Management System): a module for automating people management, including leave and sick day tracking, performance, and potential assessment (9-box model), monitoring and measuring employee satisfaction (ESAT), as well as logging working hours.
  • CEP (Competence Evaluation Platform): a platform for managing competencies, enabling the creation and management of specialists’ Individual Development Plans (IDPs), providing standards matrices, career development planning, and team assessments (Performance Reviews). This platform ensures regular monitoring and adjustment of productivity.
  • System Integration: ERP, CEP, and HRM are integrated to provide seamless real-time data transfer. SHERP creates a single data lake, utilized by various interfaces within a closed ecosystem, serving as a single source of truth.

SHERP addresses the needs of each role within the organization, from the CEO to project managers and HR managers. The integration of these systems aligns operational processes with growth and profitability targets. Currently, five Ukrainian IT companies are already using the system,

concludes Den Rudenko.
