Сharity Fund “Open Eyes” founded by IT company SoftServe, has announced its initiative to equip Positive Room 3.0 in the Lviv City Clinical Children’s Hospital, departments of Neurosurgery and neurology 4, P. Orlyk Street, Lviv.
The Positive Room is a bright, comfortable and functional space for children undergoing long-term treatment in hospitals. The 4 areas in the room: creative, playground, reading and educational with specially selected children’s toys and educational materials prevent children from staying one to one with the disease and feeling isolated.
Together with our partners, we have designed a comfortable space for children to recover faster, catch up with the school program and stay positive during this challenging time for them. We tried to take into account all these factors while planning Positive Room 3.0. Over the last 2 years, we have gained valuable experience in creating such spaces for children in hospitals, so we are convinced that the new one, Lviv “Positive Room” will bring substantial benefits for children, their parents, and the hospital staff as well, – comments Victoriia Mishchuk, Fundraising Manager of CF “Open Eyes”.
The SoftServe’s Сharity Fund “Open Eyes” Positive Room project was launched in October 2017. The first Positive Room the Fund equipped was at the Wroclaw Children’s Clinic for Endocrinology and Diabetes (Poland) in cooperation with Pozytywne.com and partners. The idea to create such a room came from the SoftServe development center in Wroclaw. The SoftServe employees addressed the fund, willingn to help with this request. After a successful project implementation, the Fund decided to implement it in Ukraine. Since then 4 such rooms have been constructed.
Сharity Fund “Open Eyes” encourages partners to cooperate for a good cause. On the Fund’s website, you can contribute to a certain project and facilitate long-term hospital stay for children.
