In September, together with our partners – the game development company Ubisoft Ukraine and the online education studio EdEra – we announced the start of the online course “Learn. Play. Work”. It is a pilot project that aims to tell children, parents, teachers, and anyone interested in the gaming industry how to turn a passion for computer games into a successful career.
The pilot project lasted 2 months and has now been successfully completed. So now we are ready to share the results. A total of 2,045 students registered for the online course, 614 of which reached the finish line. In total, they listened to 3863 lectures. According to a survey of 352 respondents, 45% of them were mediocrely familiar with the topic before the course, 29% – well acquainted, 19% were not familiar with it at all and 5% identified themselves as experts in the topic. If we talk about the audience, it was mostly young girls (56%) aged 15-24.

It’s interesting to get a certificate and learn more about computer games. I myself like to play in my free time and work with children who play games. I would be interested in this topic. I’ve always wondered how much effort people put into making the game very interesting, beautiful and error-free. The participant shares her impressions of taking the online course “Learn. Play. Work”
