IT Ukraine Association member company Roboneers and German company ARX Robotics have announced the establishment of a joint venture, ARX Industries. The agreement was signed on 25 June in Gdańsk on the sidelines of the Ukraine Recovery Conference.
ARX Industries will manufacture Rys Pro unmanned ground vehicles for Ukraine’s Defence Forces. In the first year, the partners plan to assemble thousands of units, with production volumes set to scale to tens of thousands annually thereafter. Manufacturing facilities will be located in both Ukraine and Germany.
The venture will cover not only production but also maintenance and after-sales support. Each new batch of Rys Pro vehicles will incorporate lessons learned from combat use. The partnership is backed by both governments and is being established under the Build with Ukraine programme.
Roboneers is a company of IT specialists developing software for UAVs, remote-controlled modules, situational awareness systems, and remotely operated platforms.
