The Ukraine AI Industry Map is the first comprehensive study to map Ukraine’s AI market and define its role in the global technology landscape. It was produced through the work of the Association’s AI Committee in cooperation with analytical partner Mind.ua and compliance partner Velstadt.

Published in English for an international audience, the Ukraine AI Industry Map makes the case for Ukraine’s capabilities and promotes the country’s potential. It is designed to help global partners understand:

• who is building AI solutions in Ukraine
• the areas in which Ukrainian companies are already competitive
• why Ukraine’s AI sector represents a compelling opportunity for partnerships and investment

A central component of the study is a catalogue of 64 verified Ukrainian AI companies — those that create, integrate, or commercialise AI solutions with measurable business value. The catalogue spans four segments: AI product start-ups, IT services companies with AI/ML/Data Science expertise, corporate R&D divisions, and international R&D centres based in Ukraine.

The research draws on data from Statista, McKinsey, Grand View Research, IT Ukraine Association, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the National Bank of Ukraine, regional IT clusters, and publicly available company materials. The analysis covers the period 2019–2025, with a forecast horizon extending to 2031.
