General Provisions

This Privacy Policy constitutes a public adhesion agreement within the meaning of Article 634 of the Civil Code of Ukraine and explains how information about you is collected, used, and disclosed by the IT Ukraine Association (hereinafter referred to as the “Association”) when a personal data subject (hereinafter referred to as the “User”) accesses the set of web pages available at the domain name: https://itukraine.org.ua/ (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”).

By visiting the Website, the User consents to the processing of their personal data and confirms they have been informed of the procedures, purposes, and other conditions of processing in accordance with Articles 6, 8, 10, and 11 of the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council dated April 27, 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).

By using the Website, the User accepts this Privacy Policy and authorizes the Association to collect, use, and disclose information about them for the purposes specified below.

The User confirms that they possess sufficient legal capacity under the applicable laws of Ukraine (or under the laws of the jurisdiction governing them) to consent to this Privacy Policy and to the processing of their personal data under the terms set out herein. If the User does not possess such legal capacity, the User confirms that consent is provided by their parent(s), guardian(s), or custodian(s) who are fully legally capable and authorized under the relevant laws to grant such consent.

The Association reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in applicable Ukrainian law or other grounds. The date at the top of this Policy shall be updated accordingly, serving as notice to the User.

The Association recommends reviewing this Policy prior to using the Website or providing personal data to remain informed about how to protect your privacy.

This Policy applies solely to this Website and does not apply to any third-party websites that may be accessible via links on this Website.

By using the Website’s services, the User entrusts the Association with their personal information. By submitting a request (message) via the contact form or otherwise communicating with the Association via the Website, the User consents to the collection and processing of the information they provide, including but not limited to: name, email address, phone number, etc.

By completing and submitting contact details when ordering tickets for an event, the User further consents to the collection and processing of such data, including: name, surname, phone number, email address, company name and job title of the ordering contact person, as well as the same data for the event guest.

For the purposes of this Policy, the following terms shall have the meanings ascribed below:

Data Controller – a natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data, unless otherwise provided by law;

Know the sources of collection, location of their personal data, purposes of processing, and the location of the Data Controller or Processor (Article 15 GDPR);
Receive information about the conditions of access to personal data, including information about third parties to whom data is disclosed;
Access their personal data;
Receive, within 30 calendar days of request (unless otherwise provided by law), confirmation of whether their personal data is being processed and obtain the contents of such data (Article 20 GDPR);
Object to the processing of their personal data (Article 18 GDPR);
Request rectification or deletion of their personal data if it is inaccurate or unlawfully processed (Articles 16 and 17 GDPR);
Protect their data from unlawful processing and accidental loss, destruction, or damage;
