People Choose People: How Ukrainian Fintech Startup SoftBees Captivated the Stage at Money 20/20 Europe in Amsterdam

SoftBees

Ukrainian fintech product company and neobank launch partner SoftBees has made a significant impact at the continent’s most influential financial event—the Money 20/20 Europe conference, which traditionally brings together global banking leaders, investors, and innovators in Amsterdam.

SoftBees’ CEO & Co-Founder, Tetiana Dashevska, PhD, was featured as a core speaker at the exclusive Start-Up Media Panel Session. The competition was fierce: event organizers evaluated hundreds of applications from technology startups worldwide, selecting SoftBees alongside just six other standout global companies to present their vision to leading international fintech media experts and industry analysts.

Shattering Myths: Why a Universal Digital Bank Does Not Exist

The core technological manifesto presented by Tetiana Dashevska on the Money 20/20 stage is rooted in the team’s hands-on operational journey. Over the last four years, SoftBees has successfully deployed 7 complex fintech products across completely different and geographically diverse markets, including Ukraine, the European Union, and emerging markets in Africa.

The most critical operational insight we gained from these rollouts is that a universal digital banking platform simply does not exist. Every single market possesses its own distinct DNA: there are different financial regulations, unique local payment infrastructure configurations, and, most importantly, vastly different local customer behaviors. That is why speed and cross-market adaptability have become the only true currencies of the modern financial system

Tetiana Dashevska stated during the panel discussion.

Reusable Modules and the AI-Native Shift

To solve this industry bottleneck, SoftBees designed an innovative infrastructural framework centered around reusable fintech modules. This technical layer is combined with the team’s deep domain banking expertise, accumulating years of classic banking experience.

This framework allows financial institutions and scaling neobanks to bypass multi-year development cycles. Instead of writing code from scratch, they can assemble their required platform configuration—ranging from mobile customer interfaces and digital onboarding modules to core middleware orchestration and transaction compliance engines—like building blocks, significantly accelerating product launches across various jurisdictions. To further accelerate this advantage, SoftBees is actively transforming into an AI-native company. By embedding internal AI-driven workflows into software engineering and automated API mapping, the team aims to scale fintech expertise through technology and compress traditional financial product time-to-market timelines significantly.

Gratitude and Tech Resilience Amid Extraordinary Circumstances

Addressing the global audience, Tetiana Dashevska reinforced that behind every technological disruption or AI milestone, people remain the core driver. She expressed immense gratitude to the startup’s engineers, clients, and investors who believed in the company’s vision during its scaling phases: “Technology matters. AI matters. But in the end, people choose people. And investors invest in people.”

Her address closed with an emotionally resonant message that received profound respect from the European audience—a declaration of the resilience of Ukrainian business and the ultimate price paid for the opportunity to innovate:

My deepest, ultimate gratitude goes directly to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is strictly because of their unmatched courage and daily sacrifices that Ukrainian technology companies like SoftBees can keep operating during wartime conditions. They allow us to retain elite engineering jobs, innovate, and proudly represent Ukrainian innovation on the global stage.

The appearance at Money 20/20 Europe has catalyzed a new chapter for SoftBees, sparking a wave of strategic discussions with European enterprise clients and venture funds regarding the company’s modular solutions and ongoing global scaling steps.
