PARKOVYI Data Center has introduced a new cloud service: enterprise-grade S3-compatible storage powered by the Cloudian HyperStore platform. The solution is designed for secure storage of large data volumes, backup, long-term archiving, and data management for AI projects.
The new service provides companies with ready-to-use object storage without the capital expenditure required to purchase hardware or the need to deploy and maintain the infrastructure independently. Data is stored within PARKOVYI Data Center’s controlled infrastructure in Ukraine.
Cloudian HyperStore operates using the standard S3 protocol and is fully compatible with the Amazon S3 API. This allows companies to connect existing S3-compatible applications and clients, including Cyberduck and rclone, integrate the storage with backup systems, and use it in CI/CD processes without modifying their software.
The service is suitable for the secure storage of backups, documents, multimedia files, event logs, analytical data, and datasets for AI models. Storage capacity can be gradually increased according to actual business needs without complex upgrades to existing SAN or NAS systems.
Backup and long-term archiving of corporate information are among the key use cases for Cloudian HyperStore. The platform is compatible with Veeam, Commvault, Veritas, Rubrik, Cohesity, and other data protection solutions.
Object Lock, Immutability, and Retention Lock mechanisms make it possible to create immutable copies that cannot be deleted or modified until the specified retention period expires. This helps protect backups against accidental deletion, compromised accounts, and the consequences of cyberattacks.
Additional data protection is provided through encryption, replication, geographically distributed storage, and flexible access management.
Cloudian HyperStore can be used to build an AI Data Lake — a centralized environment for storing documents, images, videos, event logs, and other unstructured data.
This type of storage can serve as the foundation for training language models, working with vector databases, developing RAG solutions, and creating corporate AI assistants. Support for NVIDIA GPUDirect Storage helps accelerate GPU access to large datasets when running AI workloads.
Cloudian HyperStore supports scaling to petabyte and exabyte capacities without service interruption. Companies can start with the storage capacity they currently need and gradually expand it as their data volumes grow.
