The PARKOVY Data Centre, together with IT leaders from the public sector, business, and critical infrastructure, gathered to discuss cybersecurity challenges and the building of resilient IT infrastructure. Participants also came together in teams to present their vision for building a resilient IT system architecture. The forum «IT Resilience & Cyber Strategy» affirmed that IT resilience is not merely a technical task, but a strategic priority for business and the state.

Oleksandr Tkachenko shared effective solutions for protecting IT architecture in wartime conditions during the workshop.

Volodymyr Pokatilov spoke about protecting critical business and state data using Retention Lock Backup and Data Domain. He emphasised that undelectable backup copies are becoming a key barrier for cybercriminals and allow businesses to maintain IT resilience even in crisis situations.

Volodymyr also shared his experience implementing VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) in high-load systems, stressing the importance of the stability, scalability, and security of such infrastructure. This solution is not only a more optimal alternative to purchasing powerful PCs, but also reduces operating costs, frees up the team, and enhances control and security of IT environments.

Serhii Zabirka presented a ready-made solution based on a private cloud, which was deployed jointly with DELL on the RedHat OpenShift Container Platform. He stressed that this architecture enables businesses to implement changes faster, optimise IT budget usage, accelerate deployment, and strengthen infrastructure continuity.

Following the strategic vision presentation by Serhiy Demedyuk, Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, the forum featured a discussion on IT resilience in wartime conditions. Participants included:

  • Vitaliy Balashov, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine for CyberSecurity and Cloud Technologies;
  • Ihor Malcheniuk, Director of the Cyber Protection Department of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine (SSSCIP);
  • Tetiana Khabibrakhmanova, Director of the Ukrainian Digital Sovereignty Alliance;
  • Oleh Shemetov, Colonel, CISO of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine;
  • Olena Zaverukha, Director of the Digital Transformation Department, Sarаrol.

Also during the event, a Ukrainian service was presented that provides passwordless authentication and multi-factor protection. Hideez is already being implemented in the data centre’s public and private clouds and will be available to clients as an additional cybersecurity option.
