N-iX has opened Innovation Labs at two Ukrainian universities – National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (NaUKMA) and Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. The company has equipped a new computer classroom with 20 workplaces for the students of the Faculty of Computer Science of the NaUKMA. Also, N-iX has opened a brand new Innovation Lab with 40 workplaces – supplying chairs, PCs and other equipment – for students of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
We have a long history of cooperation with the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. Just last year N-iX experts helped to launch a new undergraduate Statistics & Data Science program – an innovative course created by the university in cooperation with Lviv IT Cluster. And our new Innovation Lab was opened for the students of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics undertaking Statistics & Data Science program. — added Orest FurhalaPrior to that, N-iX has equipped two Innovation Labs at Lviv Polytechnic National University. First, the company sponsored the creation of the Artificial Intelligence Lab. Another N-iX Lab at Lviv Polytechnic opened in 2019. In addition to that, N-iX joined Lviv IT Cluster to open IoT Lab in 2018. The lab functions within the IoT program, which was organized by Lviv IT Cluster in collaboration with N-iX and other local IT companies. These initiatives were possible thanks to N-iX Charity Fund. The Fund was created in 2019 and is supported 50/50 by N-iX and its employees. Over 250,000 UAH has already been donated to the Fund by N-iX people. During the last 2 years, the company supported 60+ educational initiatives, provided 10 scholarships, and funded an EIT preparation program for 9 gifted college applicants. And this year, responding to COVID-19 outbreak, 2,984,441 UAH was raised to fight the pandemic.
