The State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine (SSSCIP) has updated the List of software and communication (network) equipment banned from use for the second time this month. The number of items has increased from 416 to 880.
Work on the List involves comprehensive analysis of software products and network equipment linked to sanctioned entities, aimed at keeping restrictions up to date and reducing the risks of their use in the public sector.
The updated List includes a number of products from major sanctioned manufacturers, including solutions by Yandex LLC, the Astra software line (RusBITech-Astra LLC), Kontur (SKB Kontur JSC), and RED software (Red Soft JSC).
The List has been expanded both at software and network infrastructure level. In particular, it now includes ViPNet solutions, including software products, routers, switches, security gateways and other network protection and network-building tools.
Engineering and industrial software has also been added to the list, including KOMPAS-3D, as well as the LOTSMAN, VERTIKAL and POLYNOM product lines from ASCON.
This is an important step in strengthening the public sector’s cyber resilience and reducing dependence on sanctioned technologies, i.e. hostile software.
IT Ukraine Association works systematically with SSSCIP to counter hostile software and supports the consistent strengthening of the state’s cyber defence.
The full List is available on the official website of the State Service of Special Communications.
