Let IT Be: Cybersecurity and Small Business Resilience

Let IT Be: Cybersecurity and Small Business Resilience

Publication date:

  • 17.10.2025

Publication from:

IT Ukraine

Cyberattacks are now a common part of business reality. Even a small company can become a target for hackers: a blocked website, hacked accounts, or data leaks can paralyze operations and cost client trust.

On October 28, 2025, Let IT Be: Cybersecurity and Resilience for Small Businesses will take place in Kyiv – an event that will help entrepreneurs understand how to protect their business in the new reality, how to act in case of an incident, and what government tools can help improve cybersecurity resilience.

We invite owners of small and medium-sized businesses, IT or operations managers, HR and internal security managers, and representatives of business associations to attend the event.

Register now: https://itukraine.org.ua/go/nU

Time: 16:00-18:30

Format: Offline

The location will be shared with confirmed participants.

Event Program:

16:00-16:15 | Opening Remarks From IT Ukraine Association and UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group

16:15-16:30 | Keynote Speech On the state of cybersecurity in Ukraine

16:30-17:10 | Open Conversation: Cyber Threats 2025 and How Businesses Can Avoid Becoming Targets An open discussion on what really threatens small businesses today and how to act when resources are limited. Together with experts, we will discuss:

  • New types of attacks and trends that are already changing the game;
  • What to do if you don’t have your own IT department;
  • How to build basic cybersecurity without high costs;
  • Which tools and educational resources really work for SMEs.

The speakers and moderator will be announced soon  on the event website.

17:10-17:35 | Fireside Chat: You’ve Been Hacked – What to Do? Step-by-step actions in the first hours after an attack:

  • How to assess the scale of the incident;
  • Who to notify — CERT-UA, partners, clients;
  • How to localize damage and prevent further attacks.

Speakers and moderator will be announced soon on the event website.

17:35-17:50 | Case Study: How a Company Survived a Major Cyberattack That Disrupted Part of Its IT Infrastructure:

  • What helped restore operations;
  • What to consider for the future;
  • What small businesses can learn from these insights.

Speakers will be announced soon.

17:50-18:30 | Networking & Wine: “Cyber Resilience Practices for Small Business”

Let IT Be series of events — when small businesses speak frankly and look for solutions together.

The Let IT Be event is organised by IT Ukraine Association with support of UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group.
