Leleka UAVs for military intelligence: Intellias donates 5 million hryvnia to Come Back Alive Foundation

Intellias

Intellias has donated 5 million hryvnia to the Come Back Alive Foundation on the occasion of the company’s 21st anniversary. Using these funds, the foundation plans to purchase Leleka 100 UAVs for front-line units of Ukraine’s military intelligence. Manufactured in Ukraine, Leleka drones are considered to be among the best locally produced UAVs and can see the enemy at any time of day or night thanks to high-quality optics.

Intellias’ contribution accounts for more than half of Come Back Alive’s fundraising target, which is 9.3 million hryvnia. With this sum, the foundation plans to purchase six UAVs and pass them to intelligence units. You can support the fundraising campaign by following this link. Well-known Ukrainian standup comedian Vasyl Baydak is also a supporter of this campaign, and he has released a new video with a song and a riddle, encouraging all-all-all social media users to make a donation.

Ukrainian Leleka 100 drones can provide real-time reconnaissance and aid in the correction of Ukrainian artillery, making them of real value for the Ukrainian military. These UAVs are capable of providing data for adjusting fire on enemy targets at a depth of up to 50 kilometers, flying up to 120 kilometers an hour, and climbing to a height of 1,500 meters.

Six UAVs will significantly strengthen our intelligence, replacing those Leleka 100 aircraft complexes which have been lost in battle. The Ukrainian military has been operating these drones since 2015, and the company that manufactures them has been constantly adding necessary improvements. Currently, this is one of the best brigade-level UAVs. It has a proven record of successful use, effectively adjusting our artillery to target the enemy’s equipment and manpower. Last year, our foundation purchased 25 Leleka UAVs, and one of them was delivered to military intelligence,

says Taras Chmut, Director of the Come Back Alive Foundation.

This is the second consecutive year in which Intellias is marking its anniversary by taking part in a big drone fundraising campaign. In 2022, for its 20th anniversary, the company donated 5.5 million hryvnia to the Serhiy Prytula Charitable Foundation to buy the FlyEye unmanned aircraft complex for the Ukrainian military in the Kherson region.

We have this opportunity to mark our 21st anniversary thanks to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Traditionally, we celebrate this date by purchasing reconnaissance UAVs for the military. At the same time, I urge everyone to support the Come Back Alive Foundation and help them buy one of the best reconnaissance drones to strengthen our intelligence and bring Ukraine closer to victory,

says Vitaly Sedler, CEO and co-founder of Intellias.

Intellias initiated the company’s first fundraising campaign for drones before the full-scale invasion. Since February 24, 2022, the company has been regularly supporting Ukrainian defenders, with total donations approaching 60 million hryvnia. Using these funds, Intellias reinforces frontline units with off-road vehicles and purchases equipment including UAVs, drones, thermal imagers, two-way radios, night vision devices, scopes, body armor, helmets, and computer equipment.

Along with ongoing support for defenders on the frontline, Intellias helps those who have served readjust to civilian life. The company recently signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Veteran Hub charity organization, aiming to support veterans of the war. In addition, Intellias is developing its own adaptation program and is preparing to introduce practices for the employment of specialists with combat experience.
