The UN Recovery and Peacebuilding Programme invites all interested Ukrainian citizens to take part in the Hack for Locals 3.0: «Together against violence» online hackathon, which will take place from November 26–28 2021. The project partners became representatives of the member companies of the Association: SoftServe, TECHIIA and Daxx.
Hack for Locals is an annual hackathon dedicated to the development of innovative solutions to create safer communities across Ukraine. The direction of the search for solutions is rapidly evolving, and changes from year to year. This year it is dedicated to the «16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence» Global Initiative. According to official statistics, women and girls are affected the most by violence in the world, as well as in Ukraine, for example, about 90% of people who have experienced domestic violence in Ukraine are women.
