ITU Legal Talks ‘Procedure for Searches and Summons for Interrogation’

On Thursday, 26th February at 16:00 Kyiv time, as part of the regular ITU Legal Talks format by the IT Ukraine Association, we’ll hold an open online meeting on the topic ‘Procedure for Searches and Summons for Interrogation’.

 

The speaker will be Anastasiia Didenko — Head of Anti-Corruption and сompliance рractice at ITU Partner LCF Law Group.

  • how a search is typically conducted and which documents the investigator must have;
  • how officials may arrive and when this may occur; 
  • the most common mistakes made by individuals whose premises are being searched;
  • how to properly prepare for a search;
  • what you may and may not do during a search;
  • how to act if a search is conducted at your home;
  • how to act if a search is conducted at your workplace;
  • whether your personal belongings may be seized and what to do in such cases;
  • how to exchange messages and documents securely;
  • safety rules when using a mobile phone;
  • how to properly transfer data when changing your phone;
  • what to do if you are summoned for questioning and how such a summons should be delivered.
