The ITU jointly with Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Kyiv School of Economics and leaders of the IT industry started work on creating a sectoral strategy for the development of Ukrainian IT.
The goal of the strategy is to create the most favorable conditions for the further development of the IT industry in Ukraine, to preserve its potential as an export leader, a reliable basis for the development of Ukraine after Victory, and to strengthen its position as an important player on the global stage.
The strategy development process will include an in-depth analysis of the current state of Ukrainian IT, identification of key areas of development, determination of challenges, opportunities and priorities.
Creating a sectoral development strategy will help to develop a systematic action plan to support the industry, attract investment and preserve human capital.
The project is implemented within the framework of the large-scale Plan of Ukraine by the Ukraine Facility – an initiative aimed at promoting the development of various sectors of the Ukrainian economy.
We are open to IT business initiatives that will help in the development of a high-quality document that will become a “road map” for the development of the IT industry in Ukraine until 2033.
