IT Ukraine meet the State of Utah Delegation

President of the IT Ukraine Association Olena Samborska and representatives of IT Ukraine member companies held a meeting with the delegation from the state of Utah (USA), led by the State of Utah Senate President, Stuart Adams. This is the first large delegation visit of American companies to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale War.

Welcoming the delegation in Kyiv, Olena Samborska emphasised the importance of such visits, thanked the representatives of the delegation for their support of Ukraine and underlined the interest of the Ukrainian IT industry in partnership with the US business. In particular, Olena Samborska noted that before the War, the United States of America had been in the TOP-3 partner countries of Ukraine for the export of IT services. In 2021, the volume of exports to the USA reached USD 2.73 million.

American support is extremely important for us. Unfortunately, the War has been going on for more than a year, but despite this, the Ukrainian IT business is working and actively exporting. IT can become the foundation for Ukraine’s recovery after victory. In particular, in 2022, the export of IT services amounted to a record USD 7.35 billion for Ukraine. In the first quarter of 2023, the industry showed a “flat”, the volume of exports amounted to USD 1.64 billion, a significant share of which is exports to the USA,
