IT Ukraine Association met with the Prime Minister of Ukraine

The Prime Minister of Ukraine, among other things, emphasized that the Government will allow a 2-month extension of the reservation of employees who have already been booked by enterprises, institutions and organizations. He also noted that the launch of the eVidryadjennia mechanism was currently being finalized, as the provision of the resolution for depositing UAH 200,000 caused a significant negative public response.  In the end, the Prime Minister assured that the Government has provided a sufficient amount of gas and coal for citizens, but the cold season this and next year will be difficult due to the threat of enemy attacks on energy infrastructure facilities. We remind you that the Association was the initiator of the development and implementation of the mechanism for the temporary departure of IT specialists abroad during martial law, and also submitted relevant proposals to the Ministry of Economy.  In the same way, the Association fruitfully cooperates with the Government on the implementation of legislative changes regarding the reservation of employees of enterprises in the IT industry.  In particular, the Association prepared a draft of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of March 3, 2022 No. 194 “Some Issues of Reservation of Conscripts under the Legal Regime of Martial Law” regarding the establishment of criteria for determining enterprises, institutions and organizations that  are critically important for the functioning of the economy and ensuring the livelihood of the population in a special period.”
