The second strategic session of the IT Ukraine Association’s AI Committee took place, dedicated to human capital development and the practical implementation of Artificial Intelligence technologies across various economic sectors.

AI represents a tangible opportunity to bolster businesses and enhance the economy’s competitiveness. The Committee’s mission is to unite the companies implementing these technologies so they can share best practices, find partners, and collectively shape the market for practical AI solutions in Ukraine

stated Maria Shevchuk, Executive Director of the IT Ukraine Association

During the session, participants defined the key priorities for the Committee’s future work:

  • Development of a system for training educators and updating academic curricula in the field of AI;
  • Creation of the necessary conditions for the formation of a new generation of AI specialists;
  • Strengthening cross-sectoral collaboration between business, academia, and the government;
  • Integrating AI into business and related industries.

The AI Committee’s focus remains on applied matters—ranging from updating university curricula and preparing a new generation of specialists to implementing real-world AI projects across various economic sectors. As the initiator of the Committee, FAVBET Tech will continue to foster dialogue between business and government, and unite partners to maintain Ukraine’s competitiveness in the field of Artificial Intelligence

noted Artem Skrypnyk, CEO of FAVBET Tech and initiator of the AI Committee

The session culminated in the agreement of priority actions for 2026, aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s role in the development and application of Artificial Intelligence technologies, and at fostering a sustainable environment for cultivating AI talent.

I am pleased that the AI Committee members were thoroughly prepared for the strategic session and, during the discussion, focused on the most critical and priority areas that can generate the greatest impact on the industry’s development. As a result, we have a perfectly clear and realistic action plan for the next year, where every participating company has a defined role

added Volodymyr Strashko, moderator of the second strategic session, and CEO of Unicorn School and Edmaps

Representatives from the following companies took part in the Strategic Session: AgriChain, KNESS, Agiliway, Sigma Software, Luxoft, GMS, IT SmartFlex, 8allocate, IT-Enterprise, IT Step, EPAM Digital, MHP, Modus X, UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group, Favbet Tech, Juscutum.

General Partner of the committee — FAVBET Tech.

Legal Advisor of the committee — Juscutum.

We extend our gratitude to ITU Member SoftServe for their warm hospitality and support of the event.
