Ukrpol Publishing House announces the second stage of digital transformation together with IT-Enterprise.
Ukrpol Publishing House, in partnership with SK Industries, is proceeding with the second stage of its comprehensive digital transformation. The IT-Enterprise ERP platform has been selected as the technological foundation of the company’s modern production management system.
The new phase involves large-scale modernisation of the company’s IT landscape, a detailed operational audit, and the re-engineering of key business processes. The project includes automation of production and management operations, robotisation of selected manufacturing areas, integration of digital systems with production equipment, and the implementation of electronic document management.
The company expects the initiative to reduce warehouse inventory levels by up to 25%, increase production capacity utilisation by up to 30%, and strengthen management capabilities through modern digital tools.
Ukrpol Publishing House is a company with a strong history, a powerful team, and significant achievements built by people who have developed this business over many years. SK Industries’ goal in this project is to strengthen the enterprise with effective tools and expertise to support further growth and unlock even greater potential. We selected the IT-Enterprise ERP platform as the foundation because we see their team as a reliable partner for implementing large-scale digital transformation projects, and we also see potential for its use across other manufacturing companies within our group and the wider market,
– said Yurii Svirskyi, Founder and CEO of SK Industries.
Our goal is to provide clients with modern Industry 4.0 technology solutions and build digital, transparent processes that help Ukrainian manufacturers become even more efficient. Our cooperation with SK Industries and Ukrpol Publishing House is a long-term partnership. We highly value the trust placed in our digital solutions,
– said Oleh Shcherbatenko, Founder and CEO of IT-Enterprise.
According to the company, in 2021 Ukrpol processed more than 900 tonnes of cardboard per month for packaging food, pharmaceutical, household, and cosmetic products across Ukraine and Europe. Following the start of the full-scale invasion, production volumes declined to around 700 tonnes. The recovery of approximately 20% of lost volumes, along with further scaling, is linked to the implementation of the comprehensive automation and digital transformation project.
The transformation is expected to result in the creation of a unified digital management and analytics environment that ensures operational transparency and enables a data-driven approach to operational and strategic decision-making in real time.
The company notes that the implemented model can be scaled across other industry players and serve as a benchmark for the modernisation of the printing sector. The project is positioned as one of the first examples of a full-cycle digital transformation implemented at a printing manufacturing enterprise in Ukraine.
