GlobalLogic IT specialists initiated and supported a UAH 6 million donation for prosthetics for Ukrainian soldiers. The aid was donated to Superhumans, a center for prosthetics, reconstructive surgery and rehabilitation of war victims.
According to the Ministry of Health, more than 20,000 people in Ukraine need prosthetics. The Superhumans Centre fits prosthetics and restores lost capabilities to an average of 50 people a month. Next year, the Centre plans to provide rehabilitation services to 3,000 people.
For the New Year, we decided to allocate funds to support Ukraine’s defenders. This proposal was supported by the majority of our colleagues. GlobalLogic’s Ukrainian engineers have already contributed to prosthetics for defenders and developed software for bionic prostheses in 2023. The solution was developed using artificial intelligence. This project won the international Hitachi Inspiration of the Year Award in London.
