On September 3-4, the largest innovation park in Ukraine and Eastern Europe UNIT.City hosted an international U Tomorrow Summit (UTS). This annual innovation summit brought together startups, entrepreneurs, top managers of leading companies, and venture capitalists to identify current trends in business, to understand the vector of development in the future, and together assess the intellectual potential of domestic startups.
More than a thousand participants – Ukrainian entrepreneurs and developers who want to bring their business to the next level – gathered at the most expected offline business event of the year. During the summit, they received several dozens of hours of valuable information that can be integrated into their business. The summit included 25 panel discussions on various but relevant topics for entrepreneurs from successful startup pitching, creating an ecosystem for business to global trends, and scaling businesses to foreign markets.
Since the summit is international, the participants were addressed by speakers from 13 countries. Exceptional industry leaders, representatives of the world’s best companies – Microsoft, Google, NVIDIA. Owners of successful Ukrainian startups that have already conquered foreign markets – Reface, Rocket, Petcube. Well-known Ukrainian companies that are giants in their industries – Rozetka, Avalon, Kyivstar, and many others.
The organizers of UTS, UNIT.City team and Kyiv International Economic Forum have great experience in attracting investments. U Tomorrow Summit became an entry point for investments in the Ukrainian economy. The summit brought together experienced Ukrainian and foreign investors. Among them Vasyl Khmelnytsky – founder of UFuture holding and the first innovation park in Ukraine, UNIT.City, who is actively investing in innovations, pharmaceutics, infrastructure, and IT. Victoria Tigipko is the founder and managing partner of TA Ventures. The fund invests in innovative Internet projects in the U.S., Europe, and Ukraine. Other key participants included Dmytro Borodai, representative of the investment company Horizon Capital, Maxim Slobodyanyuk, founder of the Nika Tech Family, and active investor, as well as many others. Participants had a unique opportunity to present their ideas to investors and get them interested in investing in their businesses.
The summit included a special panel, Startup Alley. Twenty-five Ukrainian startups that had attracted the organizers’ interest presented their product in front of a one-thousand audience.
To date, UTS has become Ukraine’s largest platform for international networking in the field of innovation and attracting investment in startups. Summit participants were able to get a lot of useful business contacts as well as find new partners. Small startups got acquainted with potential investors and top managers of large corporations. U Tomorrow Summit erased all boundaries for young and creative entrepreneurs.
