Google has announced the launch of a new educational programme, “IT Intensive for Computer Science Teachers,” set to begin on 4 November. This initiative is aimed at supporting computer science teachers, instructors of related disciplines and newcomers in the education field who want to improve their IT skills and teaching effectiveness.
The programme participants will have free access to educational materials on algorithms, Scratch and Python, as well as the opportunity to take part in practical classes and online training on these topics. The programme includes ready-made and useful materials for self-study in the classroom, special awards from Google, a certificate of completion, as well as a workbook with short tutorials and a selection of useful resources and tools for work.
