GoIT is launching a new stream of free IT course for teenagers

GoIT

GoIT is a global EdTech company that teaches people a variety of IT specialties. For four years in a row – from 2018 to 2021 – GoIT won the nomination for IT-education in the all-Ukrainian national project.

GoITeens is a division of GoIT that educates children and teenagers. With the start of the full-scale war, GoITeens, like many others, began to wonder what could be done to help. It was decided that the best thing to do was to continue the work. Then came the idea of a free two-week marathon “We are the future of the country.”

During the first stream of the course, children learned through a chatbot on Telegram, which worked on behalf of a virtual assistant named Tin-Tin. Every day he sent motivational messages to young students, asked how they were doing and collected homework. In one of the lessons, the children learned to create postcards and as a result did incredibly touching work on a patriotic theme.

The first stream collected more than 6,000 applications, and the number of projects made by students who passed the marathon exceeded 14.5 thousand! Therefore, GoITeens came up with the idea to launch another stream of free training, which will be dedicated to the basics of design and creating your own website. What will be on the marathon:
  • 2 weeks of classes with professional IT teachers;
  • more than 25 mini-lessons;
  • Live streams with experienced developers;
  • a community of your peers where you can find a company for your own project.
Who is this marathon for? Students in grades 7-11 who love technology, gadgets and social networking. What will they do?  Students will try themselves in two popular IT areas: Frontend and Design, and create their own website. You can join the marathon by following the link: https://goiteens.com/itmarathon
