In May, GoIT AI Solutions Hackathon 2026 brought together more than 200 students and graduates in 15 teams to build MVP AI solutions for real business challenges. The projects included a platform for onboarding sales teams, an AI system for warehouse management, and an assistant for coaches.
Over two weeks, participants from a range of fields — from development and data analytics to design, testing, and AI specializations — built products that solve concrete business problems using artificial intelligence: streamlining processes, saving resources, or creating new opportunities for companies.
Today, artificial intelligence is a tool that is reshaping business processes, products, and the way companies work. That is why we wanted to give participants not an abstract task to ‘do something with AI,’ but a challenge as close to reality as possible. It is an experience that helps develop skills in working with AI tools and product thinking, and provides a strong case study for a portfolio and the next career step,
— Daria Cherniavska, Community Manager at GoIT.
The format gave students and graduates the chance to experience the real conditions of a product team — with different roles, deadlines, team decisions, and a presentation before invited business experts.
On the final Demo Day, teams presented their solutions to a jury of seven invited experts in business, development, and product management.
Projects were evaluated against four criteria:
Five teams reached the final, and three winners received the jury’s distinctions:
For me, this hackathon was a reminder of how much you can achieve when a team is united by a common goal. We are proud of 2nd place, but even more proud of how we worked: no disputes over authorship, no fight for recognition, just everyone in their place,
— Olha Zarichna, participant of GoIT AI Solutions Hackathon 2026.
In 10 days, we chose an idea, did the research, built an AI product, and presented it to the jury. The organization, the depth of feedback, and the real business atmosphere set GoIT apart from all similar events. The result was a team that has no intention of stopping,
— Larysa Chupylko, participant of GoIT AI Solutions Hackathon 2026.
The jury of GoIT AI Solutions Hackathon 2026 included:
All participants received certificates, free access to GoIT’s Product Management course, special terms for studying at the Neoversity IT university, and gifts from GoIT and its partners — AI HOUSE and Kevych Solutions. Participants also gained the opportunity to qualify for a summer internship at Nestlé.
The hackathon united students and graduates around practical AI solutions for business for the second time. For participants, it was a way to test their skills in conditions close to real work and to add a finished MVP — rather than a training exercise — to their portfolio. For partners, it was an opportunity to see specialists who can use AI as a way to solve concrete tasks.
