GlobalLogic Ukraine Named IT Industry Leader in 2026 Opendatabot Index

GlobalLogic Ukraine Named IT Industry Leader in 2026 Opendatabot Index

Publication date:

  • 09.04.2026

Publication from:

GlobalLogic

GlobalLogic has received the Opendatabot award, topping the ranking of the largest IT companies by revenue. The company highlighted the leading export sectors and the key factors driving international partner interest today.

“IT Industry Leader Award”

Export Destinations and Industries

The Opendatabot award is, first and foremost, a recognition of our team’s resilience. Despite all the challenges, over 5,500 GlobalLogic engineers in Ukraine maintain pre-war levels of productivity. This consistency allows us to strengthen relationships with existing clients and attract new ones: over the past year, we partnered with 50 new clients. Today, Ukrainian engineers are working on 500 international projects,

comments Anna Shcherbakova, Head of Operations, GlobalLogic Ukraine.

The top countries by export volume include the USA, Israel, the UK, Poland, Germany, and Japan. The most prominent industries are:

  • Automotive: Development of embedded solutions for the automotive industry. Among the company’s 2025 highlights is a strategic partnership with Volvo Cars. This collaboration focuses on enhancing the driver experience and shaping the future of mobility.
  • MedTech: Innovations in healthcare. There is a notable and growing integration of Artificial Intelligence in medical solutions — ranging from prosthetics to patient data analysis.
  • Industrial: Digitalization of industry. IoT and digital twins play a crucial role in this sector. Media and Telecommunications are also among the leading sectors

The award itself is a “Scythian Baba” — a handcrafted piece created specifically for this project by the renowned Ukrainian potter Serhii Horban.

Global Market Demand

R&D: Ukraine possesses significant R&D (Research & Development) potential that attracts partners from around the globe. This is driven by the deep technical expertise of Ukrainian IT professionals — particularly in embedded systems, machine learning, and cybersecurity — combined with their high efficiency, even during the full-scale war.

AI Expertise: GlobalLogic has over 10 years of experience in AI. An increasing number of companies are seeking to integrate AI into their development lifecycles, build agents, and more. However, not all businesses are ready for this transition. Ukrainian engineers help bridge this gap and deliver tangible business results.

All these achievements are only possible thanks to our people. That is why our unwavering priority is supporting our specialists. We also remember those who make it possible for Ukrainian businesses to operate. Today, 400 of our specialists are serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. To help our colleagues adapt and reintegrate as they return to their projects from service, we have implemented a veteran program and will continue to evolve this initiative throughout 2026,

concludes Anna Shcherbakova.
