On September 24th, during the Oslo Innovation Week, a meetup titled “From Ukraine to Norway: IT Innovations and Partnership” organised by the Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and IT Ukraine Association, took place in Oslo. The event brought together participants to discuss opportunities for cooperation between Ukraine and Norway in the IT sector, particularly in the context of the ongoing war.
Key topics discussed at the meetup included risk management for IT companies during wartime, the current state of the Ukrainian market, and the prospects for collaboration between the two countries. Andrii Lytvyn, Head of International at IT Ukraine Association, made a welcoming speech.
The discussion focused on the experience of maintaining the operational stability of Ukrainian companies during a full-scale war and adapting to new conditions. The participants also discussed the potential of Ukrainian IT talent for joint innovation projects, highlighting that Ukraine has significantly more specialists than Norway.
Recommendations for cooperation include expanding cooperation in the areas of digital transformation and cybersecurity, as well as leveraging Ukrainian experience to enhance the resilience of Norwegian companies. Further integration can accelerate innovation and contribute to the success of both countries in the IT sector on the global stage.
