The global IT company Intellias has donated nearly 4 million hryvnias to produce specialized military antennas for drones. Quantum-Systems will install these antennas on 15 Vector reconnaissance drones used by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. This upgrade will enhance the drones’ technical capabilities, including increased resistance to interference in global satellite navigation, enabling them to perform combat missions even more effectively.
Intellias employees raised nearly 1 million hryvnias on the internal crowdfunding platform IntelliShare, with the company contributing an additional 3 million. A total of 3.915 million hryvnias has been transferred to the Ukrainian manufacturer of anti-jamming GNSS antennas.
We are very pleased that, in partnership with the German company Quantum-Systems, we can improve 15 reconnaissance drones, which the Ukrainian Defense Forces will use for important reconnaissance missions on the front lines. This is a great example of synergy between businesses, as well as the involvement of foreign companies in supporting Ukraine. It is also significant that the funds provided by Intellias will support a Ukrainian manufacturer, creating additional jobs and contributing to the state budget,
said Vitaly Sedler, CEO and co-founder of Intellias.
Drones from Quantum-Systems are highly valued by the military. With a weight of 8.5 kg and a wingspan of 2.8 meters, these UAVs can stay in the air for 180 minutes. The specialized military antennas to be installed on Quantum-Systems drones will significantly enhance their capabilities.
It’s very encouraging when Ukrainian businesses choose this type of support for the Defense Forces. On one hand, it improves the capabilities of UAVs, and on the other, it supports domestic manufacturers. We support all forms of collaboration with Ukrainian companies, as such cooperation is another step toward the localization of Quantum-Systems UAV family in Ukraine,
said Oleksandr Berezhny, Executive Director of Quantum-Systems in Ukraine.
For Intellias, no significant date passes without financial support for important causes. For example, in December 2023, during the New Year celebrations, the company donated nearly 2 million hryvnias to the Serhiy Prytula Foundation for a reconnaissance drone for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In August of last year, in honor of the company’s anniversary, Intellias supported the “Come Back Alive” charitable foundation by donating 6.3 million hryvnias for six “Leleka 100” drones.
In 2022, to mark its 20th anniversary, Intellias donated 5.5 million hryvnias to the Serhiy Prytula Foundation, which was used to purchase a FlyEye unmanned aerial system for our troops in the Kherson region.
The total amount of support provided by the company to the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion has already exceeded 100 million hryvnias.
