ELEKS

Yevhenii Shykiriavyi, the Design Manager at ELEKS, has been invited as a guest lecturer at the web accessibility course offered by the Diia.Digital education platform. The 10-lesson series, each lesson lasting up to 15 minutes, aims to educate participants on the fundamental principles of making web content accessible to as many users as possible, including those with visual impairments.

In addition to Yevhenii Shykiriavyi, the course has also invited Dmytro Popov, the director of LLC “Digital Accessibility Lab,” and Alla Oliinyk, state expert of the National Agency of Ukraine on the Civil Service, to share their expertise and insights with the participants.

The development of this course was made possible through the support of the “Digital, Inclusive, Accessible: Support to Digitalisation of Public Services in Ukraine” project (DIA Support project). This initiative is implemented by the United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine, with funding from Sweden and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, to support for the Diia.Digital education platform in making digital services accessible and inclusive to all. This web accessibility course is a valuable opportunity for individuals interested in learning how to create more inclusive web content and services. Participants can gain insights into the best practices for designing accessible websites and applications, which can ultimately benefit a broader range of users.
