On November 11, the Cyberpolice leadership met with representatives of the IT Ukraine Association and its member companies. During the meeting, the participants discussed current issues of cybersecurity and signed a memorandum of cooperation.

Meeting participants:

  • Oleksandr Hrynchak, Head of the Cyberpolice Department;
  • Constantine Vasuk, Executive Director of the IT Ukraine Association
  • Efrem Lashchuk, Director of Political and Legal Affairs of the IT Ukraine Association;
  • representatives of Beetroot, QAarea, Infopulse, N-iX, SPD-Ukraine, Zoolatech, Finik.Pro, ALCOR.

Further cooperation between the Association “IT Ukraine” and Cyberpolice will allow exchanging experience in the field of cybersecurity, as well as ensure the protection of data of citizens and companies. In particular, it provides for joint educational and preventive measures to prevent and combat cyber incidents in the IT industry.

Last year, we developed a concept for the development of cyberpolice, where one of the main elements is the creation of an ecosystem of safe cyberspace, which includes, in particular, business structures. Therefore, for us, the conclusion of memoranda and cooperation is a priority to achieve our goals.
— said the head of the Cyberpolice Department Oleksandr Hrynchak.
Constantine Vasuk, Executive Director of the IT Ukraine Association, comments: Cybersecurity and data protection issues concern not only business companies but also every citizen who uses the Internet daily. We are aware of the urgency of cybersecurity, especially during the quarantine. So we are working with the Cyberpolice to bring our expertise together to strengthen information security.
