Embedded Development is a field where programming goes beyond interfaces and begins to control the physical world: microcontrollers, sensors, transportation, industrial equipment, and critical infrastructure.
In this webinar, together with a practicing engineer, participants will learn how embedded systems work, why Embedded is a separate engineering ecosystem, and how your current technical experience can be a point of entry into this field.
Speaker Oleksandr Ivanchuk, Hardware Design Engineer, Embedded Development course instructor at Beetroot Academy, will cover:
- How Embedded Development differs from other IT fields and why it is important to understand this?
- Where embedded engineers work: IoT, automotive, defense tech, industrial automation?
- What tools, languages, and platforms are used in real work?
- Is your current knowledge sufficient to get started, and what else should you learn?
- What does the practical path to entering Embedded look like: from your first project to working in the industry?
At the end — Q&A with the speaker and recommendations for next steps.
Who will find it useful: developers — backend, frontend, mobile; engineers, testers, technical specialists and those who already have a foundation in C/C++ or electronics.
Among requirements: work in the technical field, live and work in Ukraine, devote 1.5 hours and be ready to provide feedback after the event.
Participation is free thanks to the support of the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
