From March 22 to 29 in Kyiv, Nova Post and DEV Challenge will host a hybrid hackathon focused on the digitalisation of logistics. The challenge is to create a prototype that can collect and analyse data on terminal operations in real time.
During the hackathon, teams will work with a real logistics terminal, where thousands of parcels are received, sorted, and shipped every day, and dozens of employees operate simultaneously.
Organisers are looking for solutions based on AI/ML, computer vision, IoT sensors, or a mix of these technologies.
Winners will have the opportunity to continue developing the product within further collaboration. Нова пошта plans to implement the technological solution across other logistics infrastructure facilities.
The hackathon is designed for teams with experience in complex IT solutions. Participants may include AI/ML specialists, developers, Front-end and Back-end engineers, Data and Computer Vision engineers, project managers, designers, and other IT professionals. Individual participants are also welcome to apply.
The format is hybrid: the hackathon will run online for five days, followed by an offline final in Kyiv on March 27–29.
