The Unconquered Foundation team, along with Ukrainian veterans, recently spent a week at the Adaptive Sports Center in Colorado, USA. This centre has successfully used sport as a method of therapy for over 30 years. Rock climbing, paddleboarding (SUPs), ropes courses, and even mountain climbing—every activity was adapted for various injuries and wounds.
We invite you to an event at the Veteran Hub, which will help create a space and opportunity for veterans in Ukraine to receive not only support but also the strength to move forward.
Meeting Agenda:
- Veterans will share how sport aids recovery;
- Discussion on which practices from the US are realistically implementable in Ukraine;
- Presentation of the concept for veteran glamping;
- Participants will explore the issue of partnership with local communities and businesses.
This meeting is valuable for:
- Veterans (male and female), their relatives, and veteran communities;
- Organisations working with adaptive sport;
- Socially responsible businesses interested in investing in genuine change and seeing tangible results.
The Unconquered Foundation was founded by veteran Ihor Bezkaravainyi and psychologist Olena Vyshnevetska, who support veterans and their families through adaptive sports, education, and psychological assistance.
