HR Meetups: Powered by AUK is a joint initiative of the IT Ukraine Association and the American University Kyiv, bringing together HR leaders from Ukrainian IT companies with the academic community.
The event for ITU member companies will focus on productivity in the age of burnout. Amid the realities of full-scale war, prolonged stress, adaptation challenges, loss of motivation, and uncertainty, businesses are facing an entirely new environment.
The event will be moderated by Oksana Rudyuk, PR Director at American University Kyiv, and Chairperson of the Ukrainian Public Relations Association.
During the panel discussion with psychologists and HR leaders on the topic “Emotional Burnout: How to Restore Team Strength Without Losing Yourself”, participants will explore:
- Signs of burnout at both team and organisational levels;
- Recovery tools: psycho-emotional hygiene, leadership support, and a culture of care;
- The role of HR as a facilitator of change in challenging times.
In the case study “Staying Productive Amid Burnout: IT Company Insights”, Roman Romanenko, CHRO of Kitsoft, will share practical examples:
- How team support policies and processes are evolving;
- Solutions implemented or in progress (in-house psychologists, wellbeing programmes, team rituals);
- The outcomes achieved — what worked and what didn’t.
The event will conclude with a micro-forum, an interactive Q&A session, and networking opportunities for participants to exchange experiences.
The meetings will take place quarterly, with each becoming a platform for inspiration and knowledge sharing.
