About event

Embedded Development is a field where programming goes beyond the screen and starts controlling the physical world: sensors, microcontrollers, devices, vehicles, and industrial systems.

At this introductory webinar, attendees will learn how embedded systems work, why Embedded is a separate IT ecosystem, and whether your technical background can be a realistic entry point into this field.

This webinar is for developers (backend / frontend / mobile), engineers, testers, technical specialists and those with a background in C/C++ or electronics.

Webinar trainer will be Oleksandr Ivanchuk — Hardware Design Engineer, Embedded Development course instructor at Beetroot Academy. He will cover the topics:

  • What embedded systems are and why demand for them is growing
  • How embedded systems are already transforming industries
  • Where embedded solutions are used: smart home, automotive, defence, industry
  • Examples of real devices and use cases
  • Tools of an embedded engineer: languages, platforms, environments
  • How to start in the profession and where to move next

At the end — a Q&A session and recommendations for next steps: from a hands-on workshop to a full Embedded Development course.

Participation is free, thanks to funding from the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
