About event

As part of the regular ITU Legal Talks format from the IT Ukraine Association, an open webinar will take place on the topic: “Criticality and Reservation of IT Company Employees: Status Confirmation, Risks of Refusal, and Practical Steps for Business.”

Speakers will be Yuna Potomkina, Partner at Asters, and Anton Sintsov, Counsel at Asters.

The discussion will cover the following questions:

  • the status of a critically important enterprise and its significance for employee reservation from military service;
  • key criteria and documents that IT companies should focus on when preparing their application;
  • practical aspects of confirming compliance with the criteria: tax, financial, HR and industry-specific indicators;
  • common reasons for refusal or risk of losing the status, and ways to mitigate them;
  • the course of action required where documents need to be revised, a reapplication is necessary, or communication with the relevant authority is required;
  • internal company audit prior to application: what HR, finance and legal teams should check.

Particular attention will be given to common documentation errors, reasons for refusal, communication with the competent authorities, and the practical steps to be taken prior to initial or repeat confirmation of status.

If your company is an ITU Member or Partner, register for the webinar to receive practical guidance on preparing for confirmation of critically important enterprise status and organising employee reservation in line with current regulatory requirements.
