JSC ‘ProZorro.Sales,’ the administrator of the state online auction system for Ukraine’s sale of public assets, reports on its activities in 2024.
In 2024, the ProZorro.Sales system hosted over 24,000 successful auctions. Nearly 30,000 participants competed for public assets at online auctions. Auctions for the sale and lease of assets were announced by 3,800 organisers, who, by the end of the year, attracted UAH 19.7 billion.
In 2024, ProZorro.Sales began the implementation of a new financial tool — a factoring service aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses. With the support of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the ProZorro.Sales team began developing the functionality and business model of the service. In September, the product concept was presented to representatives of state customers, banks, and electronic platforms. The full launch of the service is planned for 2025.
In September 2024, the State Property Fund presented the Land Bank, which is transforming the state agricultural land market. The project opened up opportunities for farmers to lease state land on transparent and competitive terms through online auctions. The first month of trading demonstrated high demand for state agricultural lands and an increase in the cost of subleasing plots.
In 2024, the first auctions for large privatisation also took place. All three lots found new owners through online auctions:
In 2024, ProZorro.Sales also worked actively on promoting its expertise internationally. One of the significant achievements was the inclusion of ProZorro.Sales in the UN Digital Public Goods Alliance roadmap, which aims to expand the use of the system internationally. ProZorro.Sales also organised several webinars and presentations for foreign partners and participated in international conferences, including Open Contracting Partnership and Asian Development Bank events.
The joint-stock company continues to actively develop the electronic auction system and promote investment in the country through transparent and competitive auctions.
