Luxoft Ukraine is launching training courses for teachers

Luxoft Ukraine

From March 17, Luxoft Ukraine is launching a free intensive course on the basics of software architecture for teachers of technical specialties of the Ukrainian universities.

According to BRDO, over the past 5 years, about 16,000 IT bachelors have graduated from Ukrainian universities every year, while more than 40,000 new vacancies have appeared. At the same time, the educational level of graduates is often insufficient for a full-fledged start in IT.

Find out about CSR activities of Ukrainian IT companies

The shortage of the well-qualified specialists on the Ukrainian IT-market has become more and more noticeable every year. Therefore, we decided to look “at the root” of the problem and share knowledge with those who teach future professionals, especially with teachers,
— explains the CEO of Luxoft Ukraine Vitalii Karmazinskyi.
“It’s not a secret that students and graduates of universities often lack practical skills and knowledge. Therefore, our course is focused on the practical aspects of designing software architecture. Leading Luxoft experts, who are involved in the company’s key projects, will talk about the latest trends, technologies and techniques in creating software for various industries and systems. I think, together with the practical tasks that the course participants will perform, it will give a comprehensive understanding of current trends and needs of the development market,” – added Vitalii. About 20 teachers will take part in the spring recruitment for the pilot course. Classes will be held online in an interactive format: the theoretical part will be supplemented by exercises, tests and case studies. The intensive will last from March 17 to April 9, 2021, with classes twice a week in the evening, so as not to interfere with the teaching activities of the participants. Applications will be accepted until March 1, 2021 at this link. The list of course participants will be published on March 9, 2021, where every participant will receive an email of confirmation, specified during your registration. In the selection process, special attention will be paid to the motivation of the participant and an explanation of how the acquired knowledge will be used in teaching.     Luxoft is a global technology company, one of the leaders in the market of digital transformation and software development services. In 2019, Luxoft became a part of the American technology giant DXC Technology. The company combines more than 13,000 specialists with over 3,500 experts in Ukraine (offices in Kyiv, Odesa and Dnipro). The company headquarter is located in Zug (Switzerland).
